Pyrantel Pamoate IP – 144 MG
Fenbendazole IP – 150 MG
- Roundworms (Ascarids), including Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina
- Hookworms, including Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala
- Whipworms, including Trichuris vulpis
- Tapeworms, including Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, and Echinococcus granulosus (hydatid worms), and for the removal and control of Echinococcus multilocularis
- It is typically administered orally, with or without food, and fasting is not required.
- This specific three-drug combination is generally not recommended for use in cats, as cats may be more susceptible to side effects from fenbendazole or febantel. Separate formulations with different dosages or combinations (such as praziquantel/pyrantel pamoate for cats) are available.
- Do not use in pregnant animals unless specifically advised by a veterinarian, as elevated levels of the combination in early pregnancy have shown an increased incidence of fetal abnormalities in studies.
